The thickness meter is preset with five sound speeds (in memory) for different material.
With the thickness meter, you can determine the material thicknesses of metal, glass, plastics and other homogeneous materials in seconds. The speed of sound can be freely adjusted on the thickness meter and thus adapted to a wide variety of materials. The ultrasonic probe of the thickness meter has a measuring head that can be used at surface temperatures of up to 400°C / 752°F. The measuring head is special coated to ensure maximum protection against skin burns. The thickness meter is delivered calibrated.
