The Megger MIT1025-UK Insulation Resistance Tester is an advanced 10 kV diagnostic megohmmeter engineered for the condition assessment and preventive maintenance of high-voltage electrical assets. Capable of measuring insulation resistance up to 20 TΩ with a maximum test voltage of 10 kV, it is designed for rigorous testing of transformers, switchgear, motors, generators, HV cables, and bushings across utility, industrial, and OEM environments. Safety rated to CAT IV 600 V in compliance with IEC 61010-1, it is built to operate reliably up to 3,000 m altitude.
FULL DIAGNOSTIC TEST SUITE WITH PI PREDICTOR
The MIT1025-UK supports all key diagnostic test modes such as Insulation Resistance (IR), Polarisation Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), Dielectric Discharge (DD), Step Voltage (SV), and Ramp Test, providing deep insight into insulation condition and ageing. The unique PI Predictor function significantly reduces PI test time by using the initial IR curve to forecast the full result from as early as 3 minutes into the test.
DUAL-CASE RUGGEDNESS FOR HIGH-VOLTAGE FIELD USE
The MIT1025-UK features Megger's unique dual-case construction like a fire-retardant inner shell with a tough outer casing delivering IP65 ingress protection when closed against dust and moisture. A rapid-charge Li-ion battery provides up to 4.5 hours of continuous testing on a single charge, with full operation from AC mains even on a depleted battery.
