The Megger MFT-X1 Multifunction Installation Tester is Megger's first platform-based electrical installation tester, designed and built for single and 3-phase domestic, commercial, and industrial low-voltage installations. Rated CAT IV 300 V, it consolidates commissioning, fault diagnostics, routine maintenance, and certification into one capable instrument, including EV charge point and solar PV system testing.
TRUE LOOP™ TESTING & SMART MEASUREMENT
The MFT-X1 features Megger's advanced True Loop™ earth loop impedance system with a patented Confidence Meter™, delivering stable, repeatable results even under high-noise supply conditions. Non-trip loop tests complete in as little as 7 seconds, with 0.001 Ω high-resolution measurement across all ranges. A stabilised insulation test voltage accurate to within +2%, configurable RCD auto-sequence testing, automatic volt-drop calculation, and a full-colour TFT display are all standard. Bluetooth connectivity with the CertSuite™ platform enables wireless result transfer and on-site certificate generation via iOS or Android.
IP54-RATED DURABILITY & FUTURE-PROOF OPERATION
Housed in an IP54-rated enclosure and supplied with a rugged weatherproof carry case, the MFT-X1 is built for demanding site conditions. Its modular quick-swap battery system supports both a rechargeable 4.4 Ah Li-ION pack and standard AA batteries for uninterrupted fieldwork. A microSD-upgradeable operating system ensures long-term compliance with evolving installation standards.
