STEP & PULSE TDR WITH INTELLIGENT AUTOFIND
Unlike standard pulse-only TDRs, the TDR2050 offers both step and pulse TDR modes, allowing detection of near-end faults that conventional instruments miss. The AutoFind function automatically adjusts range and gain, then positions the cursor at the first major trace event for rapid fault identification. Six selectable output impedances 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 140 Ω with auto impedance matching and a velocity factor range of 0.2 to 0.99 ensure precise calibration to any cable type. Distance Dependent Gain (DDG), dual cursors, trace tagging, and USB PC connectivity via the included download kit further streamline diagnostics and reporting workflows.
